Biblical Archaeology for Kids Summer Camp

Course Description:

The Biblical Archaeology for Kids summer camp is a hands-on deep dive into the world of archaeology. This one-week summer camp that meets 3-hours per day, will have two primary learning objectives, 1) To Learn Proper Archaeological Excavation Methodology, and 2) To Learn How Archaeological Excavations Teach Us about Ancient Biblical Civilizations.

Over the course of the camp, campers will learn about the science and history of archaeology, archaeological terms, archaeological tools, archaeological excavation practices, artifact preservation, how to make ancient tools, and how archaeological excavations provide information about ancient peoples of the Bible such as the Egyptians, the Assyrians and the Israelites.

In addition, each camper will be given their very own trowel on the first day of camp that will be theirs to keep.

Summer camps can also be customized, allowing churches to include the hands-on teaching of Biblical Archaeology into their yearly VBS programs. If your child, or your church or organization has children that love Bible stories, history or digging in the dirt, the Biblical Archaeology for Kids summer camp will be an exciting week of hands-on, archaeological fun!
